My new bubble from Paul Felski just arrived yesterday, and I was blown away (no pun intended) by the quality. I know he has done a lot of process improvement in the last few months to get the quality of his bubbles comparable to others available, and he sure did! This very accurately and perfectly shaped bubble, blows away (pun intended) my Planet Plastics bubble which I will be replacing. The acrylic is clear, and quite rigged as far as bubbles go. The bottom plate already has the hole cut in the bottom, and like the bubble is perfectly shaped. And it has plenty of overlap to the bubble (about 1/2") to allow for easy attachment.
I consider the bubble the single most difficult part to fabricate on the robot, and my hat's off to Paul for not only making a bubble at all, but making a beautiful one. I am not worthy! Paul is my robot building hero!
