This thing is a work of art.  After I figured in how long it would take me to produce my own collar with this kind of quality I realized Greg's price was a bargain.  He kept me informed during every step of the purchase process, gave me tracking info, and shipped exactly when he said he would.  It was packed perfectly and there was no damage at all.  I had to read his instructions a few times to get a good sense of how to attach this to the torso.  A diagram might be helpful here, but it's easy enough to figure out without one.

Just in. . . the Michael Joyce collar by Greg Logue.  Fine work!  In comparison of a collar I've replaced (made by another vendor who no longer sells items here), this is six times better.
I’ll explain:
(1) The joint components (radar and torso) of B9 Builder standards, blend well with it.  The vendor of my old collar used to debate that his size standards were correct.  Debates of which version is right or wrong is irrelevant to me.  It has to fit right and look good, that’s all I care about.
(2) I love that the black collar shroud behind the ribs is at a slant and covers most of the inner area. It’s not only preferable in looks with full inner coverage and clever design, it’s less prone to dust.
(3) A sharper bend of the ribs. You can see an imaginary line all around.
(4) Rib alignment is perfect.  It’s as though someone took a dough of acrylic in the shape of the Jupiter 2 and passed it through an Italian bread slicer!
(5) The collar alignment rings of my old collar were bonded from the outside.  On the Joyce/Logue collar, however, the upper and lower plates are seamless.  This aids further in conjunction with size for a better blend with adjacent components leaving no gap.  It may seem like a minor issue; It’s not.  The height of these robots reveals undesirable spaces if not fitted right.
(6) Materials are equal.  My old collar had acrylic ribs with ABS plastic rings.  The selection in the Joyce/Logue collar material is the same for both.  Much smarter to use similar materials due to bonding properties which would fuse the whole thing as one.  Without abuse, my old collar made with ABS rings is already falling apart; Several ribs have come apart. As usual, a top rate for responces and delivery.  Double thanks, one for Mike and the other for Greg on a job well done!  I liked it so much I bought two!
