NOTE: Above picture is shown with parts assembled, detailed and painted. Our kits (see below) do not come painted, and the "assembled" version is only taken to a point that excludes paint and other materials (ie. foam rubber) for final assembly.

 

Todd Stanton is the B9 builder and Chad Stanton is the master woodworker. We are working together to offer you two high quality versions of the lower section of our beloved B9 Robot. We are using Mark Thompson's "Bermuda Triangle" design (with Mark's permission of course).

We're working in cooroperation with Mark Thompson in which we will supply all of the properly cut wood pieces from his Bermuda Triangle design. It will come assembled or not, your choice. Each of these two kits will include all parts from the waist plate down (excluding the donut) and a copy of Mark's instruction booklet.

All material will be A/B grade plywood. All pieces supplied will be unpainted. The donut is not included.

If you were to do the work yourself you would quickly find that these parts are very labor intensive just to cut, never mind the assembly. We want to offer the club something to help other builders. This is why we are offering two different style kits of the lower section! Assembled or Just the Pieces for you to assemble. Both options will include Mark Thompson's assembly and finishing instructions.

NOTE: The Bermuda Triangle design is not recommended for remote control tread section movement. The primary design purpose was for statue display only. If the mobile build route is taken, structural improvements would be required.

Assembled

Price $1,250 + Shipping and handling

 

All pieces will be cut to design specifications. The tread section (feet) will be assembled (nailed and glued) as per the Bermuda Triangle assembly. The other pieces will be sent loose, as they require other materials for the final build.
