Quality CD recordings. I really like the way the robot phrases and robot mechanical sound are placed on separate channels. You have a choice of using the robot phrases with the background sound or not. Very well designed.

Dan has done a marvelous job at cleaning up, editing and equalizing these over 340 robot phrases from the original series.  Each phrase has the same sound level and equalization as the next.  By buying this set, I have saved myself hours at the computer doing sound editing.  Well worth the purchase price!  This will really help your robot come to life when you are ready to power up.  Great customer service and product from start to finish.

One word came to mind when I heard the Robot Ramblings recorded by Dan Monroe: "Remarkable!"
I received the collection the same week it was ordered via US Priority Mail.  Wrapped up in cellophane was a three disc jewel case labeled with a first season robot containing the recordings, Volume One: Season 1, Volume Two: Season 2, and Volume Three: Season 3 phrases.
All CD players are limited to 99 tracks, therefore, within these three discs only 297 tracks are possible, however, some phrases may have been combined.  The phrases don't just come out all in one shot to annoy anyone.  It's nicely done!  They're timed (every 30 - 34 seconds) each before the next track comes on.  Somehow, it would have been nice to have a listing of the contents of each disc, though.
For months I've been neglecting the purchase of this set since I already had popular phrases downloaded from various sites in the past.  This ain't your typical "Danger, danger!" or "Warning, warning Will Robinson" collection!  It's got more of what I would neglect keeping in the past due to interference from background noises.
Many of its phrases can be applied on everyday situations at home.  Best of all, the audio was at the same level of volume with a black background in the speech, meaning that the neon lamp will pulsate correctly with every syllable passing through your music interface.
Just pop in one of Dan's CDs and as he says: "Let's get those Robots talking!" You'll be glad you did!
