Added the landing gear and positioned the deck in the back yard (way back!).
The gear are 2x4's and the landing pad's are concrete poured into a 12" hole.  I used some plastic tubs cut for molds to make the landing pads round.  When cured we'll paint to match the rest of the ship.

The ground is not quite level so the back legs are a bit longer to hold the deck level.  After all, a real ship would sit level, right?!
